Carboset® CA-600L by Lubrizol is an APEO-free, low-VOC, water-based, self cross-linking, 100% acrylic polymer emulsion. It offers high performance at VOC levels below 100 g/L, making it suitable for low-emission formulations. Designed for horizontal masonry applications including clear, stain and opaque coatings.
  • It also offers excellent film clarity, a glossy, non-yellowing finish, and outstanding resistance to hot tire pick-up, UV, and solvents.
  • It possesses superior exterior durability, excellent blush resistance, and strong adhesion—delivering long-lasting, attractive coatings.
  • Provides good chemical resistance, good early water resistance, short dry time and excellent exterior exposure and weathering.
  • Shows abrasion resistance, alkaline and efflorescence resistance.
  • It enhances substrate color and appearance, and provides early block resistance that allows coated surfaces to be stacked.
  • Used in cementitious coatings, over acid stains and substrates previously treated with latex coatings leading to greater formulation flexibility.
