AMPS® 2404 by Lubrizol is a high purity form for use in emulsion polymerization of high molecular weight latex resins for coatings. Provides exceptional mechanical stability to latex. It enhances ability to generate higher molecular weight polymers and stability to divalent cations. It eliminates grit formation. Improves scrub resistance of latex films. AMPS® 2404 functions as a protective colloid. Can be used in acrylic and modified acrylic latexes for paints, acrylic and modified acrylic water-reducible resins for paints.
