ESACOL® ED 50X by Lamberti is non-ionic, pseudoplastic, natural thickener. It is a chemically modified polysaccharide derivative with delayed solubility. It is chemically treated to provide lump-free dispersions. It offers strong shear thinning profile and a very high thickening efficiency. Its controlled modification makes the polymer more stable against microbial attack, and produces a unique rheological behavior.
- It is effective in high/medium PVC paints and is compatible with all the most widespread additives for waterborne systems.
- It is used in interior and exterior waterborne paints.
- The recommended dosage level is 0.3 to 0.6% of total composition.
- ESACOL® ED 50X has shelf life of 12 months.
