DECOSPHAERA® DEEP BLACK 15 F by Lamberti is a matting agent. It is a crosslinked pigmented polyurethane spherical microbeads, produced through a water-based industrial process. It reduces gloss, even at 85°, and provides a natural feel with a subtle textured effect.
  • It provides enhanced surface flexibility, and improved mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and chemical durability.
  • It offers broad compatibility, making them suitable for use in water-based, solvent-based and UV/EB coatings.
  • It is used in various applications, including high-quality paints and specialty coatings, where it enhances performance and visual appeal by achieving a natural haptic feel.
  • The low oil absorption allows for high loading levels, enabling the achievement of deep matte finishes without compromising rheology.
  • Additionally, combining different DECOSPHAERA® colored grades enables the creation of sophisticated decorative effects that enhance both visual and tactile properties, which can be further intensified by contrast with a pigmented base.
  • The dosage of DECOSPHAERA® DEEP BLACK 15 F in the varnish depends on the desired result for matt and haptic effect.
  • It has a shelf life of 12 months.
