Higher fatty acid amide. Acts as an anti-sagging- and thixotropic agent. It is a general purpose type of swollen-type additive. Exhibits compatibility with air drying- alkyds, -non aqueous dispersions, -acrylics, -2-packed epoxies, -2-packed acrylic urethane and -unsaturated polyester. Also compatible with thermosetting melamine alkyds. Used in various solvent-based paints.
