DISPARLON® AQH-800

Modified amine salt of polyamide a rheology control additive based on hybridized amide technology developed for water-borne system. It built needle-like self structure in the coating system to prevent pigment settling and hard caking. It gives excellent thixotropic effect without viscosity increase unlike other rheology control agent such as conventional PU-thickener or acrylic thickener. It is easy incorporated by dissolver, has high shear thinning property and excellent heat resistance. It is used in water reducible systems, dispersion and emulsions. Direct incorporation of it without pre-gel process is possible. Recommend to disperse at room temperature and to be stored below 40°C. Addition level is 2-8% by weight on total formulation.
