DISPARLON® AQ-610 by Kusumoto Chemicals is a polyamide based thixotrope designed for use in aqueous systems. It interacts with resin and pigments to form a network structure that prevents sagging and settling. Prevents hard caking by minimizing pigment settling. Has excellent humidity resistance, highly shear thinning and orientation of metallic as well as pearlescent pigments. DISPARLON® AQ-610 is used in aqueous wood coatings. Addition level is 1-4% by weight on total formulation.
