Thetapel™ AM-5012

Thetapel™ AM-5012 by Innovative Chemical Technologies is a solvent-soluble, partially fluorinated acrylic copolymer which imparts oil & water repellency at ambient curing temperatures. It provides soil and stain protection to apparel and fine fabrics, upholstery, outdoor awning and tent fabrics, leather, as well as wood and composite decking. Offers surface tension reduction in solvent-based applications for improved wetting, spreading, leveling and coating properties. Used in clearcoats and specialty inks. It can be applied with a low-pressure sprayer (<60 psi), roller or brush and is effective at low concentration. It is based on short-chain fluorochemical technology which meets the goal of the US EPA 2010/2015 PFOA Stewardship Program. Thetapel™ AM-5012 has a shelf life of 12 months.
