Capa® 3091

Supplied byIngevity- Last Updated on Mar 12, 2026

Capa® 3091 by Ingevity is a polyester triol terminated by primary hydroxyl groups. It is recommended as a polyol for CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers) applications, particularly for enhancing one-component (1K) and two-component (2K) coatings.
  • It offers improved processing characteristics, reduces volatile organic compound (VOC) content, and enhances wetting properties.
  • It improves appearance and lightfastness.
  • When blended with other resins, the aliphatic backbones of Capa polymers support an increase in gloss and resistance to discoloration over time.
  • Additionally, Capa® 3091 is compatible with various chemistries, including acrylics, polyethers, polyesters, polycarbonates, and epoxy systems.
