Capa® 3050

Supplied byIngevity- Last Updated on Mar 12, 2026

Capa® 3050 by Ingevity is a low molecular weight polyester triol terminated by primary hydroxyl groups. It is suitable for producing polyurethane surface coatings, especially for clear, light-stable applications, and for coatings that require flexible and tough surface characteristics.
  • It improves appearance and lightfastness in two component (2K) coatings.
  • When blended with other resins, the aliphatic backbones of Capa polymers support an increase in gloss and resistance to discoloration over time.
  • Capa® 3050 is suitable for high solid coatings where high cross-linking density are required.
