ULTRANEX® NP 60 by Indorama Ventures Public Company is a nonylphenol 6 ethylene oxide-based non-ionic surfactant, humectant, emulsifier as well as dispersing agent. In this the hydrophobic part of the molecule comes from nonylphenol and the hydrophilic part from the ethylene oxide chain.
- It increases the degree of ethoxylation, and the hydrophilic nature of the molecule (higher HLB), which alters solubility in water, foaming power, wettability and detergency.
- It prevents pigment floating.
- ULTRANEX® NP 60 is used in polymerization in emulsions, pigment concentrates, color pastes, water-based paints, construction paints and varnishes.
