ULTRANEX® NP 100

ULTRANEX® NP 100 by Indorama Ventures Public Company is nonylphenol 10 ethylene oxide (EO). The hydrophobic part of the molecule comes from nonylphenol and the hydrophilic part from the ethylene oxide chain. Acts as a non-ionic surfactant and dispersing agent. Increasing the degree of ethoxylation, increases the hydrophilic nature of the molecule (higher HLB), which alters solubility in water, foaming power, wettability and detergency. It prevents pigment floating and flooding. Used in polymerization in emulsions, pigment concentrates and color pastes. ULTRANEX® NP 100 is also used in water-based paints and varnishes applications.
