JetFine® 1

JetFine® 1 by Imerys is a highly lamellar, ultrafine talc developed using proprietary, micronizing technology. It exhibits high brightness, high oil absorption and high specific surface area. It is a cost-effective alternative to opaque polymers and synthetic aluminum silicate. It offers superior dry hiding, excellent outdoor durability and TiO₂ extension which enables formulators to reduce between 10%-30% for equivalent paint performance. It is used in both low and high PVC, decorative paint formulations. JetFine® 1 is recommended for outdoor- & indoor-, gloss-, semi-gloss-, satin- and matt- coatings. It is also used in VOC-compliant alkyd paints, water-borne varnishes & clear coats where it provides higher transparency levels. It is exempt from EU REACH registration and compliant with EU Ecolabel criteria.
