METHOCEL™ J12MS by IFF's Nutrition & Biosciences acts as a thickener with a high substitution level. It is a surface-treated hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. It offers improved adhesion, spreadability, homogeneity, rheology control and water-binding properties. It provides outstanding binding for organic and inorganic, crosslinking for high retentive gels and tolerates low salt levels. It possesses elastic to brittle viscosity builder, enhanced film formation and a wide range of pH stability. METHOCEL™ J12MS improves workability, stability and water retention in coatings and inks.
