METHOCEL™ F4M PRG by IFF's Nutrition & Biosciences is HPMC thickener with medium substitution. It is suitable for optimum performance in blended solvents systems. It offers a unique combination of water and organic solubility. It exhibits outstanding thickening with shear-thinning characteristics that enhance contact time on vertical surfaces. It acts as a protective colloid and pigment suspension. It provides improved film formation properties such as high tensile, strength and elongation. It shows improved adhesion, spreadability, homogeneity and rheology control. It imparts better contact time on the surface and a broad range of pH stability. METHOCEL™ F4M PRG is used in coating and inks.
