METHOCEL™ F4M by IFF's Nutrition & Biosciences is HPMC thickener with medium substitution for water-based coatings and inks. It is based on high purity, non-ionic HPMC. It is used as a binder and rheology modifier in a variety of industrial applications. It offers improved adhesion, spreadability, homogeneity and rheology control. It allows thermal gelation and reversible gelation with heating. It exhibits water-binding properties and a broad range of pH stability. It possesses remarkable film and protective colloid properties. METHOCEL™ F4M improves workability and water retention.
