METHOCEL™ A4C Premium by IFF's Nutrition & Biosciences is a high purity, water-soluble, methylcellulose thickener. It acts as a rheology modifier, binder, lubricant, film former, protective colloid and pigment suspension. It yields optimum performance at a lower concentration. It offers improved adhesion, spreadability, homogeneity and advanced rheology control. It allows gelation, reversible gelation with heating and elastic to brittle viscosity builder. It prevents friction through lubricity. It provides a broad range of pH stability and water-binding properties. It exhibits remarkable film properties such as high tensile strength and elongation besides enhanced workability and water retention.
