METHOCEL™ 311 Powder by IFF's Nutrition & Biosciences is a water-soluble thickener with the highest substitution. It is used as a rheology modifier, binder, lubricant, protective colloid and pigment suspension.
- It is an industrial-grade based on high purity and non-ionic hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC).
- It offers excellent film properties such as high tensile, strength and elongation.
- It improves adhesion, spreadability, homogeneity properties and rheology control.
- It exhibits gelation, reversible gelation with heating and elastic to brittle viscosity builder.
- It is used in inks as well as improves workability and water retention for construction coatings.
- It provides reduced drip & solvent evaporation rate, good water-binding property, pH stability and low salt level tolerance.
