Iron oxide. It is an inorganic red pigment. Possesses an alkali-resistant ability and certain degree of stability towards weak acid as well as dilute acid. Offers strong covering power, high tinting strength and high performance in light resistance as well as weather fastness. Also offers soft color, good dispersity, storage stability and good miscibility with other ingredients in the application system. It can enhance anti-rust, anti-UV and other properties of paint. Used for water-based coatings. Its reference pigment amount for paint formulators are 25% - 30% of primer, 20% - 30% of mixed paint and 15% - 25% of enamel (excluding extender pigment).
