NIKANOL® L by Fudow (a group company of Mitsubishi Gas Chemical) is a high viscosity, adhesion promoter/bonding agent. It offers stickiness, tackiness, initial adhesion, flexibility, wettability and damping property. It is compatible with alkyd & terpene resins, asphalt, coal tar, liquid NBR and chlorinated rubber, polystyrene, chlorinated PP and PE. It is a straight type oligomer provided by m-xylene and formaldehyde. It is also compatible with styrenic co-polymers, epoxy & phenolic resin, rosin, PU, vegetable oils, PVC & PVC plasticizers, acrylic polymers, nitro cellulose and benzyl cellulose. NIKANOL® L provides electrical resistance and insulation as well as good resistance to water, moisture, corrosion and alkali. It is designed for ambient and heat cure type epoxy paints.
