NIKANOL® G by Fudow (a group company of Mitsubishi Gas Chemical) is a high viscosity, adhesion promoter/bonding agent. It is based on a straight type oligomer provided by m-xylene and formaldehyde. It is compatible with alkyd & terpene resins, asphalt, coal tar, liquid NBR and chlorinated rubber, polystyrene, chlorinated PP and PE. It provides electrical resistance and insulation as well as good resistance to water, moisture, corrosion and alkali. It is also compatible with styrenic co-polymers, epoxy & phenolic resin, rosin, PU, vegetable oils, PVC & PVC plasticizers, acrylic polymers, nitro cellulose and benzyl cellulose. NIKANOL® G offers stickiness, tackiness, initial adhesion, flexibility, wettability and damping property. It is designed for ambient and heat cure type epoxy paints.
