Escor™ 5100 by ExxonMobil Chemical is an ethylene acrylic acid copolymer. It is a very good adhesive polymer in film and excellent coextrusion adhesive resin for polyamides. Escor™ 5100 is primarily intended for extrusion coating and coextrusion coating. Provides excellent adhesion to polar substrates, aluminum foil, polyamide films, metallized films, papers, iron, steel and glass. Offers very low temperature sealing with high seal strengths, high hot tack forces and good seal through contamination as well as high bond resistance also when used to pack acidic food products.
