VISIOMER® HEMA-P 100 by Evonik is a non-migratory, methyl methacrylate-free, high-performance monofunctional methacrylate with a phosphate group in the side chain. It acts as an anti-corrosive- & complexing agent, adhesion promoter and flame-retardant. It offers superior adhesion to polar surfaces like metals, glass, ceramics and concrete. It can be used as a functional co-monomer in acrylic emulsion for coating resins.
  • Incorporated by polymerization, it is a versatile grade with a high monoester content which helps ensure maximum performance.
  • It exhibits long-lasting effects, improved film strength & dispersibility, and enhanced corrosion resistance on metal substrates.
  • Unlike traditional additives, it provides flame retardancy without compromising transparency or mechanical properties.
  • VISIOMER® HEMA-P 100 is suitable for direct-to-metal (DTM)-, wood- and paper coatings.
