VESTANAT® TMDI by Evonik is mixture of 2, 2, 4- and 2, 4, 4-trimethyl-hexamethylene diisocyanate. It exhibits low viscosity, high flexibility and resistance to weather & light. Shows excellent compatibility with polyols. Provides more reactivity than cycloaliphatic diisocyanates. Used for manufacturing of urethane modified resins for coatings. VESTANAT® TMDI is recommended to use 0.001 to 0.01% dibutyl tin dilaurate (DBTDL), if acceleration is necessary. It is used for manufacturing of urethane modified resins for coatings.
