Dynasylan® SIVO 160 by Evonik is an acidic silane-based, fully hydrolyzed inorganic-organic binder. It is formulated with zinc dust as a second component. Exhibits improved heat resistance and zero VOC.
- Provides room temperature curing, good adhesion of topcoats and low or higher film thickness.
- It can be thinned with water or water-soluble organic solvents.
- It is formulated with fillers and pigment.
- It is water-borne and therefore more environmentally friendly than traditional zinc silicate coatings based on silica acid ester.
- Dynasylan® SIVO 160 has a shelf life of 12 months.
