Ancamine® K54 by Evonik is a curing agent based on tris-(dimethylaminomethyl) phenol. It is a Lewis Base catalyst for curing liquid epoxy resins specially for those cured with polycarboxylic acids and as well as for the isocyanate/polyol and isocyanate trimerization reactions. Also used as an activator for other curing agents including amidoamines, amine adducts and polyamides in coatings, flooring and concrete applications. It is a multi-purpose curative that finds use in a variety of systems. Recommended dosage level of Ancamine® K54 is 1-15 phr and has a shelf life of 24 months.
