ANCAMIDE® 2865 by Evonik is a low viscosity, modified polyamide curing agent. It is intended to be used with diluted liquid epoxy resin for high elongation, high hardness and fast cure at ambient and low temperature. It possesses high bio-based content and does not contain nonylphenol, making it a safer and more eco-friendly choice for producing low VOC and low emissions coatings.
- It eliminates the need for polyurethane modifiers, while also providing high tensile and tear strength.
- It offers low temperature flexibility, increased toughness, enhanced EHS profile, quick return to service, and excellent adhesion to dry- and damp concrete.
- ANCAMIDE® 2865 is recommended for flexible primer for concrete, deck- and waterproofing membrane, civil engineering and flooring applications.
- The recommended dosage level is 85-95 phr.
- It has a shelf life of 24 months.
