ALBIDUR® PU 5640 by Evonik is a preparation of 40 wt. % silicone particles in polypropyleneglycol-triol (PPG-triol). Acts as a reactive resin modifier. Offers reduced cure shrinkage, improved dirt shedding, preservation of network density and no change in mechanical properties.
- Provides increased tear resistance, increased impact resistance and barrier properties against water & diluted acids.
- Suitable for water-borne, solvent-borne und solvent-free 2-pack component polyurethane formulations.
- Applications include top coats and primers.
