ALBIDUR® PU 5640 by Evonik is a preparation of 40 wt. % silicone particles in polypropyleneglycol-triol (PPG-triol). Acts as a reactive resin modifier. Offers reduced cure shrinkage, improved dirt shedding, preservation of network density and no change in mechanical properties.
  • Provides increased tear resistance, increased impact resistance and barrier properties against water & diluted acids.
  • Suitable for water-borne, solvent-borne und solvent-free 2-pack component polyurethane formulations.
  • Applications include top coats and primers.
  • ALBIDUR® PU 5640 is listed in DSL (Domestic Substances List), ECL (Korean Existing Chemicals List), EINECS (European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances), TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) and IECSC (Chinese Chemical Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances) and NZIOC (New Zealand Inventory of Chemicals).
