AEROSIL® R 208 by Evonik is a hydrophobic fumed silica (surface-treated with polydimethylsiloxane) grade. It shows very efficient effect in thickening and thixotropy of complex polar liquids based on epoxy, polyurethane or vinyl ester resins.
