ACCUREL® Si 761 by Evonik is a silicone oil on porous polypropylene (PP). It acts as an efficient mold release agent. It improves slip and fast and long-lasting lubricating properties.
- It supports the release of injection-molded parts.
- Its pre-dispersion in the porous carrier supports a homogeneous distribution in the finished product.
- It can be incorporated in the skin layer of biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films and significantly reduces the coefficient of friction (COF) even at elevated temperatures.
- Offers easy handling of highly viscous silicone oil as a solid.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.3-0.5 % for mold release, 1-1.5 % for lubrication and 0.4-1.4 % in BOPP skin layer.
- Complies with EU Regulation EC 10/2011, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 and REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006.
- It is listed with GB 9685-2016 for use in coatings with food contact.
- Shelf life of ACCUREL® Si 761 is 12 months.
