ACCUREL® Si 754 by Evonik is a silicone oil on a porous high-density polyethylene (HDPE) carrier. It acts as fast, long-lasting and effective lubricant and mold release agent. Its pre-dispersion in the porous carrier supports a homogeneous distribution in the finished product.
- Offers easy handling of highly viscous silicone oil as a solid.
- It can be incorporated using gravimetric or volumetric dosing equipment or by physical blending with the base resin.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.4 % for mold release and 0.5-1.0 % for slip applications.
- Complies with EU Regulation EC 10/2011, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 and REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006.
- It is listed with GB 9685-2016 for use in coatings with food contact.
- Shelf life of ACCUREL® Si 754 is 12 months.
