RHEOLATE® FX 1100 by Elementis is a high-efficiency polyether polyurethane thickener developed for use in an aqueous system. It enables formulations of odorless paints free of organic solvents. Provides long-term viscosity stability, improves weathering and is less sensitive to hydrolysis.
  • Shows decreased water sensitivity and increase mid & more high-shear viscosity.
  • Exhibits high film build, improved brushability and opacity as well as improved flow and leveling properties.
  • It is compatible with dispersion paints based on polyacrylic-, polyvinylacetate homopolymers, polystyrene acrylic-, polystyrene butadiene copolymers and terpolymers.
  • RHEOLATE® FX 1100 is used in powdered formulations and aqueous coatings & inks.
  • The recommended dosage is 0.2-1% in dispersion paints.
  • It has a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture.
