RHEOLATE CVS® -7 by Elementis is a non-ionic associative rheology modifier for waterborne paints. Available as a mid-shear hazy liquid. Contributes some high-shear (ICI) viscosity. Also, it is environmentally friendly and contains no APEOs or tin. Exhibits good viscosity stability upon colorant addition, excellent balance of sag resistance & flow and broad compatibility with latexes & thickeners. Offers good KU efficiency and good stain resistance and removal. Suitable for latex paints (acrylic, vinyl acrylic, and styrene-acrylic, vinyl-acetate ethylene) in both interior and exterior applications. Complies with ISO 9001 / ISO 9002 certificates and TSCA (United States Toxic Substances Control Act Section 8(b) Inventory), DSL (Canadian Domestic Substances List), REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals), EINECS, ENCS, PICCS, KECL, IECSC, AICS, NZIoC and NECSI. Typical levels of use are 0.25% to 1.0% based on active level by weight. RHEOLATE CVS® -7 has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture.
