RHEOLATE® 678 IF by Elementis is a solvent-, APE-, & tin-free, polyether urea polyurethane associative thickener/rheology modifier for low VOC formulations. It is designed for use in waterborne paints based on a wide range of latex systems. It exhibits superior thickening efficiency in both the mid- and high-shear rate ranges.
- It provides in-can viscosity, excellent brush drag, good color acceptance and stability with low odor.
- It is suitable for gloss & satin-gloss interior and exterior latex, based on a wide variety of binders, inks and water-reducible paints.
- It enhances film build, imparts superior flow and levelling and reduces spattering during roller application.
- It is easily incorporated and compatible with all other rheological additives.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.4% to 2.0% by weight of the paint.
- RHEOLATE® 678 IF has a shelf life of 2 years.
