RHEOLATE® 278 by Elementis is a polyurethane solution in a mixture of water/diethylene glycol ether. Acts as an associative thickener designed for use in paints containing small-particle-size emulsions and high-volume-solids systems. It provides superior thickening efficiency in the high-shear range (ICI viscosity).
- It offers high-shear viscosity and good brush drag.
- It enhances film build and imparts very good flow and leveling.
- It reduces spattering during roller application.
