RHEOLATE® 125 by Elementis is a cost-effective rheological additive with high thickening efficiency in the low to medium-shear-rate range. It is an alkali swellable emulsion based on an acrylic backbone. It possesses high shear properties which provides very good atomization.
  • It provides high viscosity at low-shear-rate, good anti-settling properties and good impact resistance.
  • It retains high gloss levels and reduces paint preparation time.
  • It exhibits easy incorporation and compatibility with other common thickeners.
  • RHEOLATE® 125 is suitable for a wide range of waterborne paints based on systems including industrial water reducible alkyds, industrial acrylics, wood-, metallic- and non-metallic industrial coatings.
  • The typical use level is 0.6-2.0% by weight in paints and inks.
  • It has a shelf life of 2 years.
