NUOSPERSE® FX 605 by Elementis is sodium salt of a polymeric carboxylic acid-based low-foaming pigment dispersing agent for aqueous systems. It counter-acts pigment flocculation in weak acid, neutral and strongly alkaline mediums. It provides long-term stability of the paint, best opacity, and low odor.
- It shows stability to hydrolysis and thus retains its activity even after extended storage of the coating system.
- It is suitable to various pigment types and fillers in aqueous mediums, such as titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, talc, kaolin and modified clays.
- It possesses a deflocculating power and a stabilizing influence on the particles already milled and de-agglomerated.
- It reduces the viscosity of the pigment paste and required demand of defoamer.
- It is used for aqueous coatings, inks, no VOC paints and dispersion paint systems, e.g., systems based on acrylic-, polyvinyl acetate- and polymer dispersion types.
- NUOSPERSE® FX 605 has a shelf life of 2 years.
