NUOSPERSE® FN 270 by Elementis is an APEO-, and labelling-free, universal nonionic pigment wetting and dispersing agent. It is available as nearly odorless, water-soluble, zero VOC, clear light yellow liquid. It is an effective replacement for nonylphenol-10eo.
- It exhibits very low foam generation, freeze-thaw stability, improvement in paint storage stability.
- It improves colorant acceptance and increases tinting strength.
- It is suitable for low VOC waterborne decorative paints and coatings.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5% in coating formulations whereas 3-12% as a vehicle for pigment concentrates.
- NUOSPERSE® FN 270 has a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture.
