NUOSPERSE® 1 by Elementis acts as a dispersing, wetting and stabilizing agent. It is efficiently wets and deflocculates most organic and inorganic pigments and then stabilizes the finished dispersion to prevent hard settling and re-agglomeration.
  • It exhibits rapid pigment wetting, increased mill output, maximum tinting strength and full chroma development.
  • It shows ease of incorporation and no floating, flooding & rub-out.
  • It is fully compatible with non-aqueous vehicles, including medium-oil alkyds, short-oil alkyds, epoxy esters, oil-and alkyd-modified urethanes, epoxies, nitrocellulose and acrylics and chlorinated rubber.
  • May be used as a co-dispersing agent to improve the wetting properties variety of non-aqueous resin systems.
  • NUOSPERSE® 1 may be incorporated in the mill-base prior to addition of pigments.
  • Suitable for solvent-based coatings.
  • Typical use levels are 2-10%.
  • It has a shelf life of 4 years.
