Dapro® CVS-20

Dapro® CVS-20 by Elementis is a next-generation color viscosity stabilizer designed for universal colorants. It works by encapsulating disruptive surfactants, significantly reducing KU viscosity drop post tinting (from 28 KU to 3 KU) while ensuring consistent rheology with no impact on leveling in low- and zero-VOC paints. It is 15% active solids, waterborne, functionalized additive available as a pourable and pumpable liquid. It shows excellent efficiency and color compatibility with most latex resins systems.

• It provides viscosity retention in paint formulations during point-of-sale and in-plant tinting, while enhancing color performance such as improved resistance to color float and superior color rub-up performance.
• It offers good color- and storage stability, and better applied hide with high paint transfer to the substrate.
• It exhibits an excellent balance of sag resistance and leveling, ensuring excellent application properties when applied with brush, roller, or spray.
• Dapro® CVS-20 is an environmentally friendly, APEO-, VOC- and tin-free product.
• The recommended dosage level is 1-5% as form of delivery on total system.
• It has a shelf life of 24 months.
