Bentone Gel® 2 by Elementis is a predispersed Bentone® 38 gel rheological additive. It is more effective than a simple Bentone® pregel, as it provides immediate full thixotropic effect with no after-bodying or viscosity drift on aging.
- It improves pigment suspension, sag resistance and reduces penetration, flooding and floating.
- It is used in stains & varnishes, inks, light industrial finishes, industrial/maintenance paint systems and blended (including aromatics) solvent-based systems.
- Recommended dosage level is 10-20 lbs.
- Bentone Gel® 2 has a shelf life of 4 years.
