Bentone® DE by Elementis is a highly beneficiated, hyperdispersible hectorite clay-based rheological additive for waterborne systems. It offers good spatter resistance, excellent pigment suspension and sprayability. It provides very good syneresis control, low dispersion energy for complete activation.
  • High-concentration pre-gels, with up to 14% concentration in water, simplify paint manufacturing by being pourable, easy to handle, and minimizing post-thickening effects.
  • Bentone® DE is used in architectural (deco) latex paints, inks, and maintenance coatings.
  • Recommended usage level is 0.1-1%.
  • It has a shelf life of 4 years.
