Bentone® CRS by Elementis is an easily dispersible rheological additive based on smectite hectorite clay with low magnetic content. It is designed for use in water-borne system and ceramic inks.
- It exhibits excellent rheological properties, imparting pseudoplastic flow and thixotropy.
- It provides outstanding anti-settling performance and enhances the workability and application of high-solid systems.
- Additionally, it is highly effective as an emulsion stabilizer, minimizes pigment floating and flooding, and enhances texturing and stippling effects.
- It offers thermostable aqueous phase viscosity control, promotes fast water release, and has a high fusion temperature.
- Furthermore, it does not adversely affect white firing characteristics.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.1-1% by weight.
- Bentone® CRS has a shelf life of 4 years.
