Dercinate PS 45 by DRT is sodium soap of modified rosin (45%). It finds application in paper coatings and pigment preparations. It is soluble in alcohols and ketones, partially soluble in aromatic solvents and insoluble in aliphatic solvents. The shelf life is 18 months.
