SYNALOX™ 100-D450 by Dow is a water insoluble propylene oxide homopolymer. Suitable for inks, paint and coatings and paint balls. It is designed to be used as lubricants. It has been developed with special characteristics that make it ideal for base stocks, components and additives in a wide variety of lubricant formulations. SYNALOX™ 100-D450 exhibits excellent lubricity, high viscosity indices, low pour points and clean burning properties, which are all important attributes of synthetic lubricants.
