PRIMAL™ BINDER U-91 by Dow Chemical is an aqueous dispersion of an aliphatic polyurethane dispersion. PRIMAL™ BINDER U-91 forms a film that is moderately hard, very tough, exhibits high tensile strength and high flexibility. It is NMP-free. Its key application properties include excellent abrasion resistance, excellent cold and dry bally flexibility, excellent cold crack resistance, superior light fastness, very good heat age yellowing heat fastness, excellent recoatability, very low fresh tack and soft surface feel. Offers a wide balance of properties making it suitable for all types of leather. It is used in high wear automotive topcoats.
