OROTAN™ 731A by Dow is a versatile, ammonia- and formaldehyde free pigment dispersant. It provides excellent heat stability, excellent scrub, good gloss and hiding at economical use levels. It offers greater corrosion resistance to coatings formulations.
- It is suitable for acrylic, acrylic-styrene, and vinyl acrylic based coatings.
- It is effective over wide pH range and is applicable at wide formulation latitude.
- Used in a wide range of formulations, including flat primers, low VOC paints, interior and exterior flat, sheen, semigloss paints and glossy topcoats.
- OROTAN™ 731A is also used in various latex-based coatings.
