Monoisopropanolamine (MIPA) by Dow acts as an emulsifier, stabilizer, chemical intermediate, and neutralizer. It is GMO- and BSE-free. It neutralizes fatty acids and sulfonic acid-based surfactants. It exhibits good solubilizing property for oil and fat. It offers low formulation cost as well as heat and color stability. Monoisopropanolamine (MIPA) is used for paint strippers and waterborne coatings. It is REACH and TSCA compliant.
