Hexyl CELLOSOLVE™ Solvent by Dow is a biodegradable, high boiling point, slow evaporating rate solvent with excellent solvency characteristics. It is GMO- and BSE-free. It provides unique cleaning power for removal of both water-soluble and greasy (water insoluble) soils. It has high boiling point, great chemical stability and low vapor pressure.
  • It plays an important role in specialty printing inks.
  • It can be used in formulations for the silk screen process to prevent premature setting of the ink.
  • It is used in water-borne and latex-based coatings.
